About Autobahn
Autobahn is a lightweight application that provides accelerated downloads and more reliable streaming video for popular applications and websites. Autobahn handles download requests from your web browser and applications and automatically improves downloads and streaming video.

What is Adaptive Bitrate Streaming?
Autobahn allows content providers to encode their video assets at many different bitrates, and is able to seamlessly switch bitrates as a user's network conditions change. This process is transparent to the Flash Player, which greatly simplifies integration with existing player applications.

Client-side "seekahead" Capability
Autobahn enables a user to "seek ahead" to parts of the video that haven't yet been downloaded, regardless of where the video assets are hosted. This is a first for video delivery in the Flash Player, and greatly improves user experience.
